Term 1, It’s A Wrap!

Hi everyone,
It has been a long term and we are happily celebrating the end of a terrific learning cycle with a fun day of history at our Pioneering Day. We are collaborating with all the local schools in our VOSS (Valley of Small Schools) Group.
Well done to all those students who delivered talks for our History unit. It truly brought the past alive for us to see so many old things and learn how they were used in the past and of course also to see and compare them to what is used today. Our visit the Mullumbimby Historical Museum was certainly a highlight of the term.

Thankyou to the parents and grandparents who have been able to come into the classroom to help during literacy groups in the mornings. Your being there has made our group work run so smoothly. I hope you can continue to help in Term 2. Any and all are welcome to come along and be classroom helpers from 9:30-11:00 Monday to Thursday for literacy groups.

Keep reading and learning those sight words over the holidays. Have an enjoyable break and I will see you all in two weeks. Refreshed and ready to roll again.
Cheers Gae :)
