It has been a very busy few weeks for the Ghost Gums. We have been learning how to use a formal algorithm for addition and subtraction in Maths. We are learning about narratives and are beginning to plan and write our own stories which we hope to turn into animations next term. We did a ton of cooking for our grand parents before grandparents day. The students had a lot of fun making strawberry jam, quiche and scones. They are becoming very confident in the kitchen. I have had the pleasure of listening to some of the information reports that everyone has been writing for Mrs B and they have done a great job.
We have recently been learning how to use seesaw to show some of our work. Soon we will send home a note inviting our parents to join seesaw and view some of what we are doing in class.
As it warms up during the day I just want to remind everyone to make sure that your child’s clothing is labeled as jumpers are taken off during lunch and recess and left out in the play ground.
We have also welcomed two new students to our class this term. Welcome to Freya and Talon and their families.
