Thankyou parents for making the time to come out to school for parent/teacher interviews. It was a very motivating and positive experience to speak with you all and share your child’s progress with you. It was great to hear how you speak with your children about what they are doing at school and reinforce the concepts and topics we are learning about. It also was pleasing to hear that many of you read this blog and have even used some of the strategies I have mentioned. If there are specific things you would like to ask about for helping your child at home send a note in and I may be able to put something in the blog that could help.
For the next two weeks I will be away on Long Service Leave, travelling to the Northern Territory and Queensland. Michelle Peenz will be taking the class for this time. Michelle will continue with my program and also be doing an Indigenous Studies unit to coincide with Naidoc Week. There will be a craft day and the athletics carnival during this time also.
Finally congratulations to Emma and Paul on the birth of their new baby girl! The newest member of the Main Arm family (insert heart emoji). Harley was so thrilled to tell us all your wonderful news and I look forward to meeting her soon.
Thankyou for all your wonderful support over the first half of the year. Bon voyage to those travelling abroad and I will see you next term.
